A DEEPER LOOK AT THE ARTIST
I’ve always believed the best photos feel like memories, warm, nostalgic, a little imperfect in the most beautiful way. I’m not here to stage your love or force poses that don’t feel like you. I work with a mix of gentle direction, storytelling, and letting things naturally unfold. The laughing, the quiet, the messy, the movement — that’s where the real magic is.
My goal is simple: photos that feel like scenes from your own film, whatever your version of “real” looks like.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Vestibulum a dapibus mi. Duis magna erat, faucibus a hendrerit non, mattis eget metus. Etiam rutrum rutrum sem, ut ornare ligula. Duis at mi et nunc lobortis lobortis. Proin sed mi a quam imperdiet ornare sit amet et ligula. Nam tempor fringilla nisl et elementum. Aliquam in mi volutpat, faucibus risus sodales, auctor orci.
Photography wasn’t supposed to become my career. I actually studied chemistry and history, and even started a data science master’s. But during a wave of grief after losing my dad at 21, I picked up a camera again, just out of curiosity, and it somehow became the thing that made me feel grounded again. That’s also why my business carries his name. It’s a small way of keeping him with me, like carrying home everywhere I go.
My mom always had a camera with her.
And an old camcorder at home. She and my dad loved looking back at those photos and videos. Not because they were special,
but because you could feel them.
That stayed with me.
Becoming a mom shifted things again. Suddenly time felt different, faster, softer, more fragile. I started noticing how quickly little stages disappear before you even realize they happened. That’s why nostalgia is such a big part of my work now. I know what it feels like to want to hold onto something that’s already changing. Now I get why my parents documented everything.
I guide you through everything, the planning, the vibe, the vision. For weddings and elopements, I send detailed questionnaires and a shared Pinterest moodboard so we’re fully aligned before the day even starts. During the shoot, I’ll direct you the entire time, keep the energy relaxed, make sure nothing feels stiff or awkward, and help you forget the camera is even there. I have a deep love for old media. I carry a film camera with me everywhere I go, and I film so many of my own family moments on 35mm + Super 8. That softness, that nostalgia, that “this already feels like a memory” energy, I bring that into every story I document.
I always say that I have the best job in the world because it never really feels like work. I get to document real life, real love, and all the tiny human moments in between, and somehow call that my job.
