I never thought we were photogenic. We’re both a little awkward in front of the camera and honestly expected to feel uncomfortable the whole time. But somehow, Katha made everything feel so natural and easy. We didn’t feel posed or stiff at all,  it felt like we were just being ourselves.

When we received our gallery, I completely broke down. I cried seeing the photos. I couldn’t believe that this was us. The images felt like stills from our own movie... so emotional, intimate, and so real. She captured us in a way we’ve never seen ourselves before.

These photos changed how we see our love, and even how we see ourselves. Oh Katha you are so gifted.

Still not over it. Hiring Katha for our wedding was honestly the best decision ever. From the moment she walked in, it just felt like we had a friend with us, super calm, fun, and zero pressure. My fiancé and I decided to elope after attending almost 30 weddings in just a few years. We wanted something romantic, intimate, and truly about us. When we started dreaming about our elopement, I knew I wanted photos that felt something, candid, documentary, nostalgic, cinematic, and full of emotion.

I had been following Katha for a while, so she was my first choice. From the very first email, I knew I had made the right decision. She is incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Her communication is amazing and she makes you feel so taken care of every step of the way. When we finally met in person, she was exactly as wonderful as I imagined, grounded, fun, and so talented behind the scenes. Our wedding day went by in what felt like seconds. There were so many emotions, so many quiet moments, and so much love and honestly, we were scared most of it would just blur together. Looking at our photos now feels like being gently brought back into that day. Katha has an incredible ability to see moments before they even happen. Nothing felt staged or interrupted. She moved so quietly through the day that we sometimes forgot she was even there and yet she captured everything. 

When we received our gallery, we sat down together and went through it slowly. At some point, we both started crying. Not because the photos were just beautiful, but because they felt honest. They felt like us. The images don’t just show what our wedding looked like, they show what it felt like.
